Beloved by those in-the-know for the capsule “wardrobes” it releases throughout the year, Wardrobe NYC is your best-kept secret for chic uniform dressing. Founded in 2017 by Vogue Australia's fashion director Christine Centenera and designer Josh Goot, the label focuses on creating timeless pieces that work in sync, and can be styled and transitioned per occasion, and per season.
Designed in New York and made in Italy, the latest release, dubbed R09 Stretch, is an eight-piece collection of flattering, form-fitting knits, crafted in a cotton-polyamide-lycra blend. “I love knitwear because it travels well, it always looks polished, it’s flexible and adaptable, so [it] can be worn on different body shapes, and in different ways,” says Centenera. Capsule highlights include a structured cardigan, zip-back legging, (mini and midi) dress, and the brand’s debut footwear - a leather, suede and Neoprene platform sandal.
