The bold and the brilliant for embracing the summer months

All eyes were on Prada when Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada came together to present the spring summer ‘22 collection - in Shanghai and Milan simultaneously - last year. And rightly so. This season, the Italian house embraces a bold and body positive series of looks that plays to a seductive, back-out-there mood. “Really, it’s about a language of seduction that always leads back to the body,” said Miuccia. “Using these ideas, these references to historical pieces, the collection is an investigation of what they mean today.”

In this way, the pieces provide a joyful ode to modern-day, post-pandemic womanhood. Corsetry boning is low-key incorporated into sweaters and tees for a daytime-sexy look, while vivid colour is brilliantly embraced. Citrus hues of orange, green and yellow permeate with triangular cross-body bags, pointed pumps and sultry satin mini skirts with theatrical trails. Not to mention the teeny-tiny green belted skort - a sell-out after being seen on Hailey Bieber. These, your Prada collectibles for a sizzling summer and beyond.
