The stuff of fairytales, Tbilisi-born brand Mach & Mach have gone cosmic, sprouting blue-sky dreaming for the months ahead. The stiletto-strong collection, that counts Solange Knowles and Kylie Jenner as fans, is not for the faint-hearted but rather speaks to the glitterati and the down-and-out romantics, bedazzled by candy-coloured and jewel-toned satins, crystal and rhinestone bows, and pearl-threaded straps.
“Our goal is to make women feel special and unique wearing our products,” say Nina and Gvantsa Macharashvili, the sister duo behind the brand, which launched at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi in 2012. “We really like the idea of giving the past a different twist, a base for painting new paths, and so set up a fashion business that conveys a message of positivity and union."
